Our Central Committee meets at Pop's Branding Iron located at Pacific Blvd in Albany. Starting on march 5, we will be meeting on the first Wednesday of the month. However, our February meeting is scheduled for the 20th. For those who would like to join us at 5:30 PM for a relaxing social/dinner hour please do so. Starting at 6:30 PM we generally have a guest speaker. Our business meeting starts at 7:30 PM. At our February 20 meeting we will hear what young Democrats from LBCC are thinking. We will also be showing a DVD featuring Howard Dean, the Chairman of the national Democratic Party.

Dear Sir, President Bush’s solution to our problem with Recession is to take money from you and give it back to you. Where, pray tell, is this promised largess coming from? He has already borrowed (spelled ‘taken’) our SS money to finance this useless war in Iraq. He and his Republican friends have arranged to refill our coffers by reducing taxes for the rich. Where is the money coming from? Us! The lower and middle? Class.
